Transit chart calculator
Place the planetary positions of a chosen date on your birth chart: which houses they cross, the aspects they make to your natal planets, and your Saturn and Jupiter return dates.
How is the transit chart calculated?
Birth chart
The planets, ascendant and Placidus houses are calculated for the moment of birth.
Transit positions
The positions of all planets are found for the date you choose (the current positions if today is selected).
Houses and aspects
We find which house of your birth chart each transiting planet is crossing and whether it makes an aspect to one of your natal planets within a 3° orb.
Saturn and Jupiter returns
Saturn returns to its natal position about every 29.5 years, Jupiter about every 12 years. These moments are searched in ten-day steps and the exact date is found by bisection.
How to interpret transits
Fast planets (Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars) set the daily and weekly mood, while slow planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) set themes spanning years. A Saturn return is read as a time of maturing and responsibility, a Jupiter return as a new cycle of growth.
Frequently asked questions
Is a Saturn return always hard?
No. A Saturn return is a period of restructuring your life; for those who lay solid foundations it can also bring success.
Can I choose a past or future date?
