How is the love percentage calculated?

  1. Combine the letters

    The two names are combined, and accented letters are simplified (é→e, ñ→n, ü→u).

  2. Count L-O-V-E-S

    Count how many times L, O, V, E and S appear in the combined names; this gives a row of five numbers.

  3. Add neighbours

    Neighbouring numbers in the row are added to write a new row. If a sum is over 9, its digits are added.

  4. Until two digits remain

    The process continues until two digits remain; these two digits give the love percentage.

Example: L-O-V-E-S = 1 2 0 3 1
1+2=3, 2+0=2, 0+3=3, 3+1=4 → 3 2 3 4
5 5 7 → 10→1, 12→3 → 1 3 → 13%
