Friendship calculator
Enter your name and your friend's; we'll calculate your friendship percentage from the harmony of your name numbers and the letters you share.
How is the friendship percentage calculated?
Name numbers
The letters of both names are added with the Pythagorean table and reduced to a single digit.
Number harmony
The same number scores 4, numbers from the same family (1-5-7, 2-4-8, 3-6-9) 3, others 2; this is converted to a percentage of 4.
Shared letters
We calculate how many of the distinct letters in the two names are shared (the Jaccard ratio).
Result
The result combines 60% number harmony and 40% shared letters.
Friendship % = 0.6 × number harmony + 0.4 × shared-letter ratio
A playful indicator
Friendship grows with time spent together and trust; this calculator only looks at the numerical vibration of your names.
